Before you can begin using our services, you must verify that you are who you say you are. When you sign up, our app guides you through an enrollment process, which takes a few minutes to complete. You’ll need to use the camera on your phone to take a selfie; and scan the front and back of your valid, non-expired, state-issued ID or license.
During enrollment, we do not store an image of your state-issued ID, and we do not store all your identity information. We scan your ID to verify the following:
We then compare and try to match the selfie that you took against the picture on your state-issued ID. During this process, we calculate a selfie match score which indicates how closely the two images align.
